We love taking underutilized spaces and turning them into functional, beautiful landscapes. Our latest project in NE Portland is a perfect example of how thoughtful design can make a big impact, even in smaller areas.

The Challenge: A Sideyard

Our goal was to create a durable, sustainable solution that enhanced both aesthetics and usability.

The Solution: Blending Function and Beauty

We designed and built a sideyard that seamlessly integrates natural elements with practical features:

  • Stormwater Management: Thoughtful grading and permeable materials help direct and absorb rainwater, preventing pooling and erosion.

  • Flagstone & Paver Mix: A combination of natural flagstone and pavers provides both visual appeal and durability, ensuring a stable, low-maintenance surface.

  • Native Plantings: Carefully selected plants enhance the space while thriving in the Pacific Northwest climate.

The Result: A Seamless Outdoor Extension

The finished space is now a welcoming, functional extension of the home. Whether it’s a peaceful walkway, a place to enjoy the garden, or simply a more visually appealing space, this sideyard has been completely transformed.
